Courtyard Situation

The courtyard is located in the center of the building and is open above, allowing for a large amount of daylight during the day. Lack of greenery and warm air rising affects vertical ventilation. However, green planters have been added in recent years. The courtyard is flexible for student activities and benefits surrounding areas with efficient cross ventilation. The central ELQU courtyard is covered by a roof with ventilation louvers and translucent panels for diffuse daylight. The courtyard is covered by plants and green planting areas along the railings of the corridors, making it comfortable for informal meetings. The MUIC courtyard is also located in the center of the building and has both covered and open areas. Cross and stack ventilation is limited due to extensive glass facades, but the courtyard is divided into several zones, including a water pool and relaxation areas. The terminal conditions are appropriate, and the place has a serene and inviting appearance.
